The Forbidden Kiss

A long desired wish,
I had dreamt it a zillion times,
Moon, night, you and me,
The breeze was the wind chime.
My heart was racing,
I knew I could no longer control,
I could not regret it in the years to come,
So I went through the adrenaline roll.
I felt lifted from the ground,
I didn't need to breathe anymore,
For I could only survive with your touch,
There was nothing else I'd more adore.
A dream from which I never wanted to wake,
Your arms the only place I wanted to be,
The touch from your lips watered my thirst,
A kiss I could only seal with thee.
We were close but I needed you closer,
For I knew this moment would soon be gone,
I wish I could stop time for the night,
So that never came up the dawn.
I love you so.....so.....so.....much,
And there aren't enough words to tell,
If only angels were real,
I'd ask them to cast upon you my love spell.
Each morning I wake up with your thoughts,
And feel your lips pursed to mine,
A memory that shall never be lost,
I toast it by raising my glass of wine,
A truth I'll have to live with,
A love for me you shall not feel,
An unfinished chapter of my life,
A pain all my life I shall deal.
